What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a website. It allows the site to work, or to measure how often it is visited. Some cookies require your consent, others do not.
The Cookies We Use
Necessary cookies, and audience measurement cookies if you accept them. The first keep the site running and remember your choice. The second tell us which pages are read and which buttons are used. Nothing is set for audience measurement before you agree.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| cookieadmin_consent | kanoalodgemoorea.com | Remembering your cookie choice (necessary) | 1 year |
| wordpress_test_cookie, wordpress_logged_in_* | kanoalodgemoorea.com | Login to the administration area, reserved for the team (necessary) | Session |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics | Audience measurement: visits, page views, clicks (if you accept it) | 13 months |
| _clck, _clsk, MUID | Microsoft Clarity | Audience measurement: understanding how pages are browsed (if you accept it) | 1 year, 1 day for _clsk |
The contact form is protected against bots by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks your browser when you send it. The site shows no advertising, no embedded video and no online map.
Manage Your Choices
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse audience measurement. Refusing is as simple as accepting and changes nothing about how you use the site.
You can change your mind at any time from the cookie icon at the bottom of the screen, or block and delete cookies in your browser settings. Without the necessary cookies, some features may stop working, starting with the contact form.
